Why Developers Shouldn’t Worry About App Standby 

App Standby was introduced alongside Doze to improve user’s battery life. The feature intelligently restricts battery intensive background syncs and radios whenever an app is not in use. However, in contrast to Doze mode, App Standby still honors an app’s wakelocks and alarms. How is the feature triggered?
